ESD Expert net and Engagement Global are nominated as key partners by UNESCO for the implementation of the Global Action Programme Education for Sustainable Development

On May 25 and 26 the first planning meeting of selected key partners of the Global Action Programme of UNESCO took place in Paris.

Nicola Fürst-Schuhmacher and Hannes Siege (Engagement Global) brainstormed together with 13 partner organisations on implementation strategies for the implementation of activities in the Priority Action Area “Youth”.

Also the UNESCO Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Education for Peace and Sustainable Development (MGIEP), a partner organisation of the ESD Expert Net were actively engaged.

After the conference in Paris, Engagement Global and the team of MGIEP jointly went for further consultations within Europe and Germany in order to meet with possible partners for the implementation of global partnership programmes addressing youth.
